Local war veteran Jo Kilner and serving soldier Corporal Alistair Booton, jointly reopened the hall on Sunday 7th November 2004 thereby celebrating the completion of a major refurbishment over a 10 month period. The opening was followed by a Rememberance Service and hall rededication service by Rev E J Green, all of which was organised by the Friends of Glen Parva
