December 13 saw the annual Christmas Concert held at the Memorial Hall on Dorothy Avenue. The children from Glen Hills School sang and were as magnificent as usual. Santa appeared and took the children away for drinks and a biscuit then the rest of the evening was left in the hands of the Enderby Youth Band. The evening was bought to a close with a ‘thank you’ from the Council Chairman, Mrs Jan Martin.
